Fellowships, Assistantships, & Other Positions

Fellowships, Assistantships, & Other Positions

Funding for ISE graduate students is awarded by each individual faculty member. Students are selected by the faculty member based on their educational background, skills & experiences, and needs of the specific project. Available positions can range from 100%-funded fellowships to part-time, hourly employment.

Students are encouraged to contact individual faculty members to discuss research opportunities and funding possibilities. You may view the profiles of our current faculty here.

The number of positions available varies year to year based on project availability and students seeking a Ph.D. are typically prioritised, although appointments may also be awarded to students enrolled in the master’s program. Students interested in these opportunities should contact the faculty member directly.

NOTE: If you are receiving a government scholarship or funding from an outside source, please contact the ISE Graduate Advising Office at grad-advisors@ise.ufl.edu so that information can be noted on your file. If there is a deadline for you to receive an admission decision in order to receive those funds, then it is important that you alert us to that date.
