Engineer Program

The Engineer degree provides the opportunity for deeper study, as it requires 30 credits of coursework, with an optional thesis, after the completion of an M.S. or M.E. degree.

To be admitted to the program, students must have completed a master’s degree in engineering at an accredited institution approved by the Graduate School. The master’s degree is regarded as the foundation for the degree of Engineer. The master’s degree must be based on the candidate having a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum or having taken sufficient articulation course work to meet the minimum requirements specified by ABET.

The application and admissions process follows that of our Master’s programs. Please follow that process if you are interested in the Engineering program.
