Academic Advising

ISE academic advisors are an invaluable resource for students at all stages of their academic careers. They are always available to help you plan your program of study, resolve problems and provide valuable career guidance. Students are required to meet with their academic advisors at least once per semester.

To meet with an advisor, please visit the Advising Area in Weil 373 and sign in at the computer.

There are two ways to meet with the Academic Advisors

By appointment:

Currently we are implementing an appointment system to reduce wait times. Students should be able to make appointments here or here.This is going to be the most efficient way if you want to avoid long waiting periods.

Walk-in basis

If you prefer to stop during the hours below, we will be available to see you. Please note that at certain times, advisors may not be available due to other commitments. Should there be an urgent undergraduate need when the department advisors are unavailable, please see the College Student Affairs office in 204 Weil Hall. In general, advising office hours are:

Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m

Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

CLOSED approximately noon – 2 p.m.

Change of Major and Transfer Students

Usually these types of meetings require extra time to cover all questions that you might have. To avoid rushing students out and due to the amount of time allotted for our appointments, we request that you visit us during walk-ins only.
