Each scorecard requires instructors to provide the following information concerning each outcome to which a course contributes.
- Description of the mechanism(s) to assess the outcome.
- Explanation how each mechanism assesses the outcome.
- Criteria for students to successfully achieve the outcome.
- Evidence that the outcome is achieved.
Item 4 above is direct evaluation of student work in the course and serves as material to be included in an outcome folder. Our process for evaluating success in meeting outcomes requires an annual review of the outcome folders and information from the other assessment methods by our Undergraduate Curriculum Committee. The output of this review is a report to the faculty and ISE Industrial Advisory Board, along with proposed actions to address areas of concern identified in the review.
Below is a list of courses along with the required scorecards.
