ABET Accreditation

The Bachelor of Science Degree in ISE (or BS-ISE) at the University of Florida is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, the recognized U.S. accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology. Program Educational Objectives:

Within five years of graduation, B.S. ISE graduates

  • Are successful professionals in industrial and systems engineering or other disciplines,
  • Acquire advanced knowledge through continuing education or advanced degree programs, and
  • Are active leaders in their profession and/or community.

Student Outcomes:

Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering uses outcome scorecards to directly assess whether students achieve the following ABET student outcomes.

a- Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering
b- Design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data
