Abstract: Behavior Analysis:  Designing behaviorally-based interventions for improving safety and healthcare delivery

Behavior Analysis is grounded in over 80 years of research and has evolved into a science and technology with the power to improve the human condition in a myriad of ways.  The underlying scientific philosophy espouses that behavior is a function of the environment, both the physical and the social environment, and behavior can be influenced by changing that environment.  In this talk, Dr. Nicole Gravina will describe research applications of behavior science for improving workplace safety as well as healthcare delivery.
