Spring Graduating Class Well Placed in Industry

GAINESVILLE, FL:  The College of Engineering held its graduation ceremony for bachelor’s and master’s students on Sunday, May 5.  Doctoral ceremonies were held on the previous Friday evening.  The ISE Department graduated over 50 undergraduates, in addition to over 65 master’s students and two Ph.D. students.  According to exit interviews, 80 percent of the graduating class was heading to work with an additional 10 percent heading to graduate school.  The leading employers include Accenture, Cameron, Procter & Gamble, General Electric, ExxonMobil, and Manhattan Associates.  Consulting was the leading industry, with Deloitte, Booz Allen Hamilton, IBM and PWC also hiring students.
