GAINESVILLE, FL:  Trey Lauderdale (BS ISE 2004) won a 2013 Outstanding Young Alumni Award for the College of Engineering at the University of Florida.  Upon graduation, Lauderdale went to work for Florida Power & Light and Emergin before returning to campus to complete his Master’s in Entrepreneurship.  He then went on to start Voalte, which supplies technology with mobile medical software to clients.  The company, headquartered in Sarasota with 65 employees, has its product in use in 25 hospitals.  Lauderdale expects Voalte to triple in growth this year.
