Lauderdale (BS ’04) Among Governor’s Innovators in Business Award Winners

TALLAHASSEE, FL:  The Governor named Trey Lauderdale (BS ISE 2004) among his Innovators in Business Award Winners in December of 2012.  Lauderdale started Voalte, a technology firm that streamlines communications for hospitals, in Sarasota in 2008.  He now serves as President of the firm with 65 employees.  According to the Governor’s press release, “the awards recognize outstanding contributions toward improving and diversifying Florida’s economy plus distinctive community investment efforts, particularly relating to industries targeted for economic development and high wage job growth.”  Lauderdale was named in the “Leaders Under 40” category for Sarasota County.
