HOUSTON, TX: Seven ISE students traveled with other students from the College of Engineering’s Society of Women Engineers to Houston, Texas to network with over 5,000 engineers and technologists from across the nation for the WE12 Society of Women Engineer’s Annual National Conference. This year’s theme was ‘A lifetime of Opportunity.’ The conference certainly lived up to it’s tag line boasting a career fair, inspirational talks, enlightening workshops, and endless networking opportunities. Students were exposed to over 250 leading corporations, government agencies, and graduate schools, which offered interviews for internship and full-time opportunities.

ISE students Allie Dreyer, Michelle Gauthreaux, Elizabeth Gillett, Nicole Giovanni, Natalia Laverde, Federico Neumayer and Zeidee Pineda traveled to Houston to partake in the festivities.  Travel and registration costs were covered in part by donations from generous alumni.
