GAINESVILLE, FL:  ISE undergraduates Emily Allen and Andrew Orso were both recently named scholarship award winners in the College of Engineering.  Orso was one of eight to win a 2012 Lockheed Martin Engineering Scholarship under the supervision of Dr. Cole Smith and Allen was one of ten to win a 2012 Progress Energy Engineering Scholarship under the supervision of Dr. Panos Pardalos. Both awards recognize students for their excellence in performing research within the College of Engineering.  This is the first time that both the Lockheed Martin and Progressive Energy scholarship awards have been awarded in conjunction with the University Scholars Program.
