LAFAYETTE, LA: The University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) has added a doctoral program in Systems Engineering to its offerings, as reported by the Associated Press.  According to the Dean of the Engineering at ULL, this is the first Systems Engineering doctorate offered in the state.  The program was approved by the Louisiana Board of Regents last week.
