Florida Innovation Hub at UF Seeks Startups

GAINESVILLE: The University of Florida is looking for technology-based startup companies that want to dramatically increase their likelihood of success by leasing office or lab space in the Innovation Hub, the first building in the 24-7 live/work/play urban research park known as Innovation Square.  According to the National Business Incubator Association, locating a business in an incubator increases the likelihood of success to 87 percent.

The Innovation Hub opens its doors this fall to UF faculty inventors and technology-based startups from across the state. Tenants in the 48,000-square-foot Innovation Hub will have access to a wide variety of resources, including office space, modern laboratories, programs and events, and conference rooms. Offices and labs start at $230 and $575 per month respectively, increasing based on size.  This includes utilities, furnishings, wifi, shared lobby and conference rooms and a variety of other benefits. Tenants can move in starting Oct. 10.
