Hudson (BS 1972) Among Growing Number of Women Leaders in Defense.

WASHINGTON, DC (October 2010): Marjorie Censer of the Washington Post highlighted the rise of women into the upper management ranks at defense contractors. The article noted that three of the four operating divisions for Lockheed Martin are run by women, Phebe Novakovic serves as executive vice president for marine systems at General Dynamics, Maryanne Lavan is general counsel at Lockheed and Linda Hudson (BS SE 1972) serves as president of BAE Systems. As this has traditionally been a male-dominated field, Hudson noted that “we’ve come a long way.”
