Bethlehem, PA (April, 2011): According to the Spring 2011 Survey from the National Association of Colleges and Employers, engineers and other technical majors secured the top-ten highest starting salaries for college graduates. Chemical engineers headed the list, with an average starting salary of $66,886, followed by (2) computer science, (3) mechanical engineers, (4) electrical engineers and (5) computer engineers. Industrial engineers and systems engineers took sixth and seventh, respectively, in the rankings.
