Dunlap (BS 1984) Finds Niche with Navy.

GAINESVILLE, FL (November 2010): After a brief stint with Eastern Airlines upon graduation, Donald Dunlap (BS ISE 1984) moved up to Jacksonville to work with the U.S. Navy and has never looked back. He is now the Division Director of the Industrial Engines Repair group for the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast. His group repairs engines for the F-18, P-3, H-60, A-10 and EA-6B aircraft. He returned to campus to talk to students in the Introduction to ISE class. He stressed that the students need to remain creative and work well in teams. He also reiterated the importance of communications and being able to write — recalling how his first official memo was returned, covered in red ink. It now serves as motivation.
