ISE Students Take Advantage of IIE Annual Conference

SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO:  UF ISE students Ranjit Vadlamannati, Rachel Mielke, and Daniel Schra, who are also active in the Institute of Industrial Engineers, ventured to Puerto Rico between May 18 and 22 to participate in the Annual Conference.  Of the 1600 conference participants, nearly 700 were students.  They participated in a number of conference activities, including a student track in which they networked with other students from across the globe as well as gained valuable information on furthering their careers.

ISE graduate students Jing Ma, Cinthia Perez, Jorge Sefair, and Melis Teksan also participated in the conference, presenting their work to colleagues from around the world.  Professors Vladimir Boginski, Yongpei Guan, Joseph Hartman and J. Cole Smith also attended.
