Gainesville, FL (March, 2011): Joe Nagy may have been uncertain about his major when arriving on campus (he initially declared electrical), but he was certain about sales engineering as he declared the minor right away. Five years and an internship later, he went to work for Trane and the Systems Sales Engineer hasn’t looked back. He recently enlightened students in the Sales Engineering Seminar, focusing on those first few years out of school — from training and mentoring to travel and pay. He also shared that he was told that he would not make it in sales – which provides plenty of motivation.
