Zhao (PhD ’14) Takes Runner-up for IIE Pritsker Doctoral Dissertation Award

Chaoyue Zhao (PhD ’14) took second place for the 2015 Pritsker Doctoral Dissertation Award from the Institute of Industrial Engineers for her dissertation entitled “Data-Driven Risk-Averse Stochastic Program and Renewable Energy Integration”. The award recognizes outstanding doctoral dissertation research in industrial engineering. She was honored at the IIE Annual Conference held in May 2015 in Nashville, TN. Before joining in our department, Chaoyue obtained her BS degree in Information and Computational Sciences from Fudan University in Shanghai, China in 2010. After graduation, she joined in the faculty at the Oklahoma State University as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor beginning in the Fall of 2014. She was advised by Professor Yongpei Guan.
