GAINESVILLE, FL:  Dr. Cammy Abernathy, Dean of Engineering at UF, held a reception in Dr. Joseph Hartman’s honor on Tuesday, June 4.  He was presented with a “Gator Trophy” in acknowledgement of his service to the College.  Hartman has served as Professor and Chair of Industrial and Systems Engineering since the summer of 2007 after joining the Department from Lehigh University.  He recently accepted the position of Dean of the Francis College of Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.  He will officially begin his duties in July.
