GAINESVILLE, FL: Sixty ISE students divided into 15 teams presented solutions to problems posed by their sponsors in the Senior Design course required by all ISE students to graduate (if they do not participate in the Integrated Product and Process Design program). The solutions were presented this past weekend to fellow students, faculty and sponsors, which included Costa Farms, Crowley Maritime, Herren Associates, Monterey Boats, Nielsen, Northrop Grumman, Pepsi, P&G, Raytheon and Rockwell Collins along with UF’s College of Dentistry, UF’s Office of Research and the U.S. Navy. Projects were far ranging, from the development of information systems to improved logistics and manufacturing processes. With fifteen projects, this is one of the largest course enrollments in recent history.
