GAINESVILLE, FL: Rick Mitchell (BS ISE 1992) returned to campus to address students in the “Introduction to ISE” class on Monday, October 22.  The equity partner at GrayRobinson in Orlando received his law degree from Florida after working for Disney upon graduation from the ISE program. The 45 lawyers hired in the firm of 273 have clients that include NASCAR, RIM, UCF, Valencia College and FAMU.

He told the students to work hard in school and plan on returning to graduate school after heading to the work force.  “You can relate it to real life experience,” he said, noting, “you are little more seasoned.” He stressed that they could pursue many avenues, from an MBA to law to medical school.  “You are going to find that your IE foundation will serve you well,” he said.
