Feathr Wins Gainesville Area Innovation Network Shootout

GAINESVILLE, FL: Feathr, a local start-up housed in the Florida Innovation Hub in downtown Gainesville, took first place in the Gainesville Area Innovation Network (GAIN) “Shootout” on Monday, October 15 at the Harn Museum.  The company is developing an “app” that could revolutionize the way in which contact information is exchanged by eliminating traditional business cards. ISE student Aidan Augstin is the company’s co-founder and CEO.

As reported in The Gainesville Sun, 16 companies participated in the event. A panel of judges which included investors and entrepreneurs selected the winner.  For its efforts, Feathr won $2,500, free accounting and marketing services, and membership in GAIN.
