ORLANDO, FL: Several University of Florida ISE students were featured in the July 2012 issue of Industrial Engineer magazine, a publication of the Institute of Industrial Engineers. In the “On The Boards” section appears a photo of several students and Department Chair, Dr. Joseph Hartman on the grounds of the Hilton Bonnet Creek hotel.

Additionally, in the “Focus, Keeping Pace with IIE” section,  Stephanie Bagiardi, Elizabeth Gillett, and Daniel Schra were commended for being awarded scholarships at the 2012 annual conference and Chaoyue Zhao was recognized for their entry in the CIS Student Paper Competition entitled “Two-stage Robust Optimization for Power Grid with Uncertain Demand Response”.

Finally, Ashley Benedict (MS ’06) was the feature in the publication’s “Work Perfect” highlight.
