Largest Group of ISEs Attend SHPE National Conference

Anaheim, CA: SHPE (The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) held their annual conference from October 26 through 30 in Anaheim, California.   According to SHPE, the conference is designed to “provide educational, technical and career opportunities for professional and student engineers.”   Last year the UF SHPE Chapter set a record for sending the largest contingent of students from one school.  This year 37 ISE students will be attending the conference, which is the largest reported group ever to attend the SHPE conference in the history of the ISE department.
