WASHINGTON, DC: According to a mid-year report from the TechAmerica Foundation, the Tech Industry added 115,000 jobs in the first half of 2011. This is a two percent increase when compared to the same time period in 2010. Leading the increase were engineering and tech services jobs, which were up 3.6 percent from a year earlier. High-tech manufacturing jobs were up 0.8 percent.
