GAINESVILLE: Industrial & Systems Engineering graduate student, Chin Hon Tan, was recently named as one of two nominees from the College of Engineering for the prestigious Alec Courtelis award.  Nominees for the award must demonstrate academic excellence and must have made outstanding contributions to the university community.   The award is given to a deserving graduate student and bestowed by the University of Florida International Center.   The ceremony will be held on November 17 at 5:30 p.m.
