BERLIN, GERMANY: Steffen Rebennack (PhD 2010) was awarded the Doctoral Dissertation Award from the German Society of Operations Research.  Rebennack, an Assistant Professor of Operations Research at the Colorado School of Mines, wrote his dissertation on energy systems optimization under the guidance of Distinguished Professor Panos M. Pardalos.
