Engineering Starting Salaries Down Slightly.

BETHLEHEM, PA (September, 2010): A survey by the National Association of Colleges and Employers showed that college starting salaries were down slightly for the Class of 2010. Engineers as a whole saw starting salaries drop from $59,670 to $58,669, or 1.7%. Despite the drop, engineers commanded the top five starting salaries in the survey, led by petroleum engineering at just over $77,000. The survey only considered undergraduates.
