Brown Awarded Inaugural Leadership Award.

GAINESVILLE, FL (August, 2010): Alex Brown, ISE Senior, was selected as the 2010-2011 (and first ever) undergraduate recipient of the “Attributes of a Gator Engineer Recognition Award for Leadership” by the College of Engineering. He was recognized at the 2010 College of Engineering New Student Convocation on Friday, August 20, 2010, in the Reitz Union Grand Ballroom. Brown is the Founder and current Chair of the ISE Ambassadors as well as Chair of the ISE Student Advisory Council. He is also a past President of the IIE Student Chapter and the Theta Tau Professional Engineering Fraternity. Furthermore, he serves as an Ambassador for the College. He has interned with GE Healthcare, Walt Disney World and Voalte and expects to graduate in May of 2011.
