My research primarily focuses on developing mathematical models, efficient solution techniques, and novel algorithms for analysis of large-scale datasets. I use advanced machine learning and optimization methods with emphasis on deep machine learning, network science, cyber security, and relevant algorithmic aspects. My broad experience in computer programming and software engineering, including high performance computing and related techniques, allows me to efficiently resolve computational challenges arising within my research areas.

In addition to the mentioned research endeavours, I frequently collaborate with political and social scientists on social media analysis, encompassing both network analysis and the analysis of text data from social media sites using deep learning techniques, and conduct research targeting medical informatics. For empirical validation of my research, I often utilize real data collected from social media sites by developing and employing customized web-crawlers.
