Courses

During my time at UF, I have successfully developed and taught three new courses that have received consistently positive evaluations from students.

  • The first course, Occupational Safety Engineering – EIN4210/EIN6905 (split level), provides students with a comprehensive understanding of safety engineering principles in occupational and systems safety.
  • The second course, Data Analysis for Industrial Applications – ESI3215C (undergraduate level), equips students with the necessary skills to apply data analysis techniques in an industrial setting.
  • The third course, Workplace Ergonomics and Biomechanics – EIN4242C, covers advanced topics on human factors and biomechanics concepts and applied methods.
  • In addition to these courses, I have collaborated with colleagues to create a Safety Engineering Graduate Certificate for UF graduate students and non-degree seeking students. This certificate program is designed to prepare students for a career in the field of safety engineering, and it includes three sequential mandatory graduate-level courses.
