Title: Smart manufacturing plant floor cybersecurity
Abstract: Cybersecurity has emerged as a major concern in modern manufacturing systems. While cybersecurity risks pervade an entire manufacturing enterprise, plant floor controllers have historically been the primary targets for cyberattacks, compromising the quality, productivity and safety. This talk motivates the emerging manufacturing cybersecurity landscape, and discusses two cybersecurity approaches, namely, dynamic watermarking of machine tool controllers, and real-time anomaly detection in collaborative robotic cells.
