Engineers Lead the Way in Starting Salaries

BETHLEHEM, PA: According to a study by NACE, the National Association of Colleges and Employers, students graduating with a major in a field of engineering have higher starting salaries than their peers. According to an article in the Alligator, they average $61,913 across all engineering disciplines.

The University of Florida’s Career Showcase has seen renewed interest from employers as the economy improves, especially in engineering fields. The Spring 2013 Career Showcase took place on February 5 and 6 with nearly 250 employers and thousands of students.
