TAORMINA, ITALY:  ISE Distinguished Professor, Dr. Panos Pardalos, will be a keynote speaker at the 12th International Conference on Parallel Problem Solving From Nature.  He will give a talk entitled “Global equilibrium search algorithm for combinatorial optimization problems.”  An expert in global optimization, Dr. Pardalos’ work on this project was performed jointly with Ph.D. students Dmytro Korenkevych and Oleg Shylo.
