Gainesville, FL (April, 2011):  ISE Ph.D. Students Neng Fan and Siqian Shen were named winners of the 2011 Graduate Student Research Awards. Fan will graduate this summer and hopes to work at Los Alamos National Lab, where he has been interning this past year. Shen will assume duties as Assistant Professor of Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor this fall. Vogiatzis won the Graduate Student Teaching Award for his dedicated teaching of C++ in the Department this past year. He expects to complete his Ph.D. within the year.
