Glenn Renwick (MS ISE 1978) received the University of Florida Distinguished Alumnus Award at the Engineering Commencement ceremony held on Sunday, May 1 in the O’Connell Center on campus. The nominee “must have excelled in his/her chosen field or must have performed outstanding service for the university,” according to the nomination process. Renwick has served as President and CEO of The Progressive Corporation, a $15 billion automobile insurance company, for the past 10 years. He also holds an undergraduate degree in mathematics and economics from the University of Canterbury.
