WASHINGTON, DC (January, 2011): According to information released by the American Society for Engineering Education, Florida ranked sixth in the nation in conferring B.S. Degrees in Engineering in 2008-09, with 3,641. California led the states with 8,420 degrees, followed by New York, Texas, Pennsylvania and Michigan. In all, 74,387 degrees were awarded from 341 schools.
