CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (July 2010):. Rockwell Collins, based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with significant operations in Melbourne, Florida, has provided a grant to help the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering develop a laboratory for its required, capstone senior design course.
A strong supporter of ISE, Rockwell Collins has been sponsoring senior design projects for the past several years through its Melbourne facility. The funding, provided through the Rockwell Collins University Grants program, will help in the renovation of space and acquisition of necessary equipment to aid all students engaged in the course in completing their projects.
