Travel arrangements:
The University of Florida is located in Gainesville, a small city not far from the northern border of Florida and a little more than a one hour drive from either coast. It is about a 1.5 hours drive to Jacksonville, and 2 - 2.5 hour drive to either Tampa or Orlando. There are several flights a day between the Gainesville Regional Airport and the Atlanta, Charlotte, Orlando, and Tampa airports.
