Conference on Supply Chain Optimization

at the University of Florida, February 27 - March 1, 2003


The University of Florida Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering will host the second annual Conference on Supply Chain Optimization, February 27 through March 1, 2003 at the University of Florida Hotel and Conference Center in Gainesville, Florida. The purpose of this conference is to bring together academic researchers and practitioners to discuss leading edge research and applications in this area, and to identify new areas of exploration in these fields.


This conference will consist of a series of presentations of the latest research results in applications of optimization modeling to supply chain management problems. The focus of this conference is on merging leading edge capabilities in optimization with newly defined problems in supply chain management. The audience will include leading academic and industry researchers in optimization as well as supply chain management professionals that will help to define new applications areas for optimization modeling and decision support.
