Class Dates Finalized
All class meeting dates for the program beginning in August 2018 have now been set.

Applications Still Invited
This year’s application deadlines of March 21 and June 4 have passed, but we still have availability and encourage interested individuals to submit an application.  We will begin processing admissions on a rolling basis.  To apply, please follow these instructions.

OEM Outstanding Faculty Award Presented to Dr. JP Richard
The OEM Outstanding Faculty Award for the OEM Class of 2018 was recently presented to Dr. JP Richard, who teaches Deterministic Methods in Operations Research.  This award is determined by student vote, and is in recognition of excellence in teaching and service.  More details are available here.

Newest Graduates
Congratulations to our newest graduates!  The commencement ceremony for the OEM Class of 2018 was held on Friday, May 4, 2018, and we are proud to welcome 31 new alumni to our OEM network.

Class Dates Announced
All of the class meeting dates for the program beginning in August 2018 have now been set, except for the dates from August 2019-December 2019.  The remaining dates will be posted online when available.

Program Fees Announced
The program fees for the program beginning in August 2018 have now been set, and we are very pleased to announce that the fees did not increase.

Interim OEM Director Appointed
Dr. Elif Akcali has been appointed as Interim Director of the OEM Program.  Dr. Joe Geunes, the OEM Director from 2007-2016, has moved on to the University of Arkansas, where he is the John and Mary Lib White Systems Integration Chair for the Industrial Engineering Department.  Dr. Akcali’s first involvement with OEM dates back to 2003, when she mentored her first student projects for the EIN 6905 course.  In 2015 she began teaching ESI 6323, Models for Supply Chain Management.  Dr. Akcali is an Associate Professor, and in addition to her new role as Interim OEM Director, she is a UF Entrepreneurship Faculty Fellow and also holds the position of Associate Chair for the Industrial & Systems Engineering Department.  For more about Dr. Akcali’s background and interests, please visit our Faculty and Staff page.
