- 4/7/2008 First Application Deadline Has Passed
Thank you to everyone who submitted an application by the April 4th deadline. We have begun processing these applications and will begin acting upon them in the near future. In most cases, we will be contacting applicants to schedule a telephone interview. Applications received after the first round deadline will be considered based on space availability. - 3/18/2008 First Application Deadline of April 4, 2008 Is Quickly Approaching!
This year's first application deadline is quickly approaching, so applicants are urged to submit materials as soon as possible. Although it is preferred that GRE scores be submitted along with all of the other application materials, if GRE scores are still pending, we recommend that you still submit everything else by the April 4th deadline.
We will be evaluating applications in batches. The first round of admissions decisions will be based on all applications that are submitted by April 4, 2008. The second round of decisions will be based on applications received by June 16, 2008. Applications received after the June 16, 2008 deadline will be considered based on space availability. If you are planning to apply, we encourage you to submit your materials by April 4, 2008, in order to get priority consideration. Program capacity limitations may require giving higher priority to qualified applicants whose application materials have been received earlier in the admissions review process. - 8/20/2007 Welcome Class of 2009
The OEM Class of 2009 is underway now, with 56 participants. Students met for the first time for Orientation weekend from August 17-19, 2007. Applications are now invited for the next program, which begins in August 2008.
- 7/31/2007 Class Is Full
We have reached capacity for the class beginning on August 17, 2007, and have started a waiting list in case some already admitted students do not enroll. We will review new applications for purposes of expanding the waiting list. All applicants who are not admitted this year will automatically be considered for next year's program.
- 7/17/2007 Last Call for Applications
The program beginning August 17, 2007, has limited space available. If you are still planning to apply, please contact the OEM office ASAP to discuss your application timeline. Priority consideration will be given to applicants who submit the majority of their application materials by Friday, July 27, 2007. In some cases, applicants who have not yet taken the GRE may be given additional time to complete the exam.
