The University of Florida IAC encourages the manufacturing companies that it has served to continue their association with the IAC.

When requests are received for additional help, attempts are made to provide as much additional technical information and analysis as possible. However, the UF IAC does not provide any engineering design services, offer performance guarantees for its analyses or recommendations, nor recommend particular equipment vendors or manufacturers.

The UF IAC's reputation for integrity to client company satisfaction is extremely important to the credibility and success of the program. With these factors depending on the unbiased professional services provided by the UF IAC, it is considered inappropriate for the Director, Assistant Director, or other staff to engage in private consulting with a client company during the time they were responding to the IAC's recommendations. Therefore, the Director, Assistant Director and professional staff are committed to a policy of not engaging in private consulting work with client companies for a period of two years from the date the Final Report of the energy audit is sent to the company.
