Homework #2

The homework #2 covers chapter 4 and chapter 5 of the textbook.
You should solve all the problems by yourself, although you can consult with other students.
No part of homework can be copied from someone else’s solution.
Start doing the homework as the material is covered.

Rules for submitting the homework:

• Put all Excel-format problems into one file, named "(your last name)_(first name)_hw2.xls," (for instance "Smith_John_hw2.xls").
  For each problem create a separate sheet, name the sheet by the problem number.
• Put all Word-format problems into one file, named "(your last name)_(first name)_hw2.doc," (for instance "Smith_John_hw2.doc").
• Use green background color for input data and yellow background color for output data.
• Zip your files into one file, named "(your last name)_(first name)_hw2.zip," (for instance "Smith_John_hw2.zip")
• Create a new e-mail and sign it: "I did all the problems in this file by myself. Your Name".
  Attach zip file and send the e-mail to Alex Veremyev with a copy to yourself before the deadline.
