You are required to present a research paper in the ISE Department’s Fall or Spring seminar series before the end of your third year of study. You are responsible for scheduling a seminar date with the coordinator of the seminar series. You should submit a title and abstract for your seminar to the coordinator of the seminar series no less than two weeks before the seminar date.
You should also send an electronic copy of a Technical Report on the topic of your seminar to the ISE Faculty as well as the outside member(s) of your Supervisory Committee. In addition, a hardcopy of the Technical Paper should be submitted to the Program Assistant for inclusion in your file. It is recommended that you include the disclaimer “Not for distribution; do not quote without permission.” on the first page of your Technical Report.
