Help
The spreadsheet gives I.S.E. undergraduate students a tool for planning their curriculum here at the
University of Florida. The spreadsheet is based on the 01-02 Catalog and runs in MS EXCEL; When you
indicate which term you intend to take each course, the spreadsheet computes
1. the hours you will be taking each term
2. the number of terms you will be in school
3. and checks to see if you have satisfied all the prerequisites and co-requisites.
By spending a few hours completing this spreadsheet, you will have a valuable plan. Without
such a plan you might well spend more time in school than is necessary.

Step 3. Then change the Security Level from 'High to Medium' as shown in Fig . 3, and click 'OK'.
Step 4. Reopen your file and click on 'Enable Macros' this time.

Why do I need to use a "1" only?
Because that's the way the spreadsheet has been designed. Think of a "1" as being like a check mark.
Each "1" you enter checks the semester you plan to take the course in question. The spreadsheet then checks your schedule with the help of formulas that
are based on the 1's that you put in each cell.
If you were to use a "2" instead of a "1" it won't allow you to enter. :)
