We invite researchers and practitioners working in different areas related to Systems Analysis, Data Mining and Optimization Techniques in Biomedicine to submit abstracts for possible conference presentations.  Those who submit abstracts will be notified regarding whether a presentation based on the abstract can be scheduled for the conference.  Accepted abstracts will be printed in the conference program and speakers will have approximately thirty minutes to present their material.  The conference facilities will have projectors for presenting material from a laptop computer, as well as overhead projectors. 

To submit an abstract, please email the title and abstract to vb@ufl.edu by December 15, 2004.

Papers presented at the conference will be considered for publication in the special issue of the Optimization Methods and Software or in the refereed volume (to be published in the "Biocomputing" book series, Kluwer Academic Publishers).
