Welcome our new hires!

(Top Left) Jele’cia Milton joined UF ISE, on March 30th, as the Marketing and Communications Specialist. Ms. Milton’s time was spent obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Advertising from UF’s College of Journalism and Communications. She has always had a love and appreciation for all things related to art and communications, and engages in both, outside of her career.

(Top Right) Dr. Ehsan Salimi will be joining UF ISE, on May 30th, as a Lecturer. Dr. Salimi was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Southern California. He received his PhD degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His current research interests include statistical inference in the context of decision making with partial information.

(Bottom Left) Dr. Michelle Alvarado will be joining UF ISE, on August 16th, as an Assistant Professor.  She was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University (TAMU). Dr. Alvarado, also, received her PhD degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from TAMU. She has ongoing work in the development of a health policy model for reducing hospital readmissions using a penalty-incentive model.

(Bottom Right) Dr. Hongcheng Liu will be joining UF ISE, on August 16th, as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Liu was a Post-Doctoral Researcher of Radiation Oncology at the Stanford University. He received his PhD degree in Industrial Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. He is interested in investigating computational and statistical complexities in high-dimensional learning, utilizing modern optimization theories.
