Richard promoted to Full Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Dr. Jean-Philippe P. Richard joined the Department in 2008, after having been on the faculty at Purdue University. He earned his Ph.D. from Georgia Tech. His teaching and research interests focus on the design and application of methods for the global solution of linear and nonlinear mixed-integer optimization problems. His efforts in teaching and research lead to numerous awards including NSF CAREER award 2004, James H. Greene Graduate Educator and Pritsker Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Awards from Purdue University, and IIE Transactions Best Application Paper Award 2008. He currently serves as the Department’s Ph.D. program coordinator.
